karena meniru spec dari motoGP maka teknologi, design, aerodinamis total mengadopsi motor Ducati di seri kejuaraan Motogp, bahkan material untuk bodynya pun menggunakan bahan yang sama. Ducati RR ini merupakan replika dari motor Ducati Desmosedici 2006. Casey Stoner dan Loris Capirossi telah mencoba motor ini di lintasan San Marino dan merasakan hampir tidak ada perbedaan antara motor Ducati RR ini dengan motor MotoGP yang biasa mereka gunakan di balap MotoGP.
walaupun diambil dari prototipe motor Ducati Desmosedici 2006, namun dengan penerapan teknologi tinggi dari balapan motoGP, tetap motor sport untuk jalan raya ini memberikan perbedaan dengan motor sport lainnya.
Ducati RR dijual dengan bandrol harga 60.000 Euro atau sekitar Rp 728.784.000,- harga yang sesuai dengan keunggulan yang ditawarkan Ducati RR.
